I just bought this today, and so far, so good. But time will tell, as in all things.
Did I ever tell you guys that Willie Nelson is one of my Dad’s best friends? Well, he is.

Ok, Linda, you’re going to kill me but I have a news new layout. Please tell me what you think. The other one was great but I could not add any pages, like dupe pages, which is what everyone comes here for. I like the new one better but tell me what you think.

Judi! A big WOOHOO and congrats on the “dot com”! I love the layout…very clean and easy to read! It’s funny, I decided I was going to pull out my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation today because I can’t decide if I want to order the Today’s Special Value on QVC! lol That’s awesome that your dad is good friends with Willie Nelson! My beloved mother LOVED him and I would often catch her singing one of his songs while she was busy doing stuff around the house. She’s been gone 4 years now and I still think of her every day. ♥ Anyway, looking forward to hearing what you think of the foundation.

( when I was a kid I had Willie Melson posters in my room, my Dad made me take them down. He called him a long hired hippie freak,but when they met, they became instant best friends! Dad still calls him a long haired hippie freak!)
I’m sorry about the loss of your Mom, but it’s nice those songs can bring her back to you a bit.

I can’t remember how many years ago now, maybe 5-6? Willie Nelson was at one of our Casinos. On the way through he stopped at the quaint town my father in law lives at to go to the liquor store (in Canada we have to go to the beer store or liquor store to get alcohol) Well, my father in law was in there picking out something and Willie Nelson said something (not sure exact words) that what my father in law was buying was shit and not very good and to buy what he was getting. LOL I have no idea what it was. They had a conversation for a bit about their drink etc and that was it. Later at the checkout my FIL was told it was Willie Nelson. He had no idea who it was in fact he said he had a bad choice in his drink! My FIL is English! I think it would have been funny to be there my FIL is very eccentric and looks like a bum when he goes out unless you see him getting into his huge Yukon or home! Willie Nelson probably thought he was a bum and funny thing FIL said the same about Willie Nelson- that he wasn’t dressed up. Too funny. Thought you would like this story. xx

That is too funny. Willie probably didn’t think he was a bum but it sounds like he didn’t like the choice of beverage he was buying. Willie is very down to earth and doesn’t like when people put in airs. He told me once when people come backstage to say Hi and are all dressed up, he won’t give them the time of day but a working guy in his jeans and everyday clothes comes up, he’ll talk their ear off. He probably liked your FIL otherwise he wouldn’t said anything to him.
When I first met Kris Kristofferson, I though the was a bun looking for a sandwich. I’m not kidding either. My parents had a beautiful home on maui an d often times people came there looking for work or food, my dad is the most generous person on the planet, he would always give them money and help with a job or whatever. So one day this old car, we called them Maui cruisers, pulled up in the driveway, and a scruffy looking guy asked if Mickey was home, mom & dad were gone somewhere, I asked him if he wanted to come in and have a sandwich with me, I told him I was just getting ready to make lunch. He had a whole pass,e of kids with him. They were all scruffy too! He said no and said tellyour dad Kris stopped by. Kris Kristoffereson! Geez,mi tried to feed him because I thought he was looking for a handout. I think I even tried to go give hm a $20 dollar bill.
Now, when he calls he wants to know what I’m making for lunch! I’ll never lie that ne down!

Great stories Judi.I heard that Willie had to cancel two of his shows because of the Flu.I sure hope he gets better soon.Lousy to have the flu,but he’s no spring chicken!I hope your Dad is feeling better today,too.They are two tough guys who are really softies.

Yes, he has been really sick. His whole family is sick. He called yesterday and I was taking dad’s temp, he said I should put the therm somewhere else and then he could talk! He always cheers my dad up and I know my dad makes him laugh too. Thanks again Linda for all your help. Xoxo

Congratulations on the .com! You are so talented. I like the light color and clean look. BTW, I was looking at the Today’s Special Value on QVC, Tart, but decided against it because I have back up foundations. Maybe I’ll look again…. Tart seems like such a good cosmetics line. Have you ever given a thought to writing a book? I think you have one inside of you. Really! I’m happy you were wearing a seat belt. It could have been so much worse without one. I hope your dad has a speedy recovery.

Yes this one is good ,too.It sort of blends the best of the two.I like Betty over on the side where her blog is more visible.Yes–the Dupe page is a must have ,we need it!!
